School Introduction

The Language Institute von Rothkirch is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of southern Germany, on lake Chiemsee at the foot of the Alps, and between the European cultural cities of Munich and Salzburg. The institute is located in Prien, a picturesque resort town filled with culture and style, located direct on lake Chiemsee. The institute and its environment offer a perfect combination of learning, culture, beauty, and relaxation. Prien is a beautiful resort community of approximately 10, 000 inhabitants direct on Lake Chiemsee. Prien is world famous for its proximity to the Frauen Insel (Women’s Island) and the Herren Insel (Men’s Island). The Herren Insel is home to one of Germany’s famous castles built by King Ludwig II. The castle on the Herren Insel (though never complete) was modeled after Louis XIIII castle at Versaille.

ESL Program Introduction

The Language Institute von Rothkirch is a private language school specializing in German and Business English as a foreign language. We are located in the German Alps in Prien on lake Chiemsee. We also offer one-week super-intensive Business English courses for German and Foreign nationals needing to improve their English for work or study. All of our English trainers are native English speakers, and our learning system is designed around English spoken in the business environment as well as business culture. Our English students receive 50 hours of instruction per week.

Schedule & Fees

We have excellent relationships with vacation apartments and hotels in Prien am Chiemsee, and are able to offer very affordable and high quality housing options. Vacation apartments cost between 20-30 Euros per day.
