Ajax is in the heart of Durham Region, which includes the historic towns of Pickering, Whitby and Oshawa. We are only minutes from the Greater Toronto area, about 30 minutes east of downtown Toronto, with easy access to and from Ontario's capital city by car or by GO (public transportation) - 30 minutes direct to downtown Toronto.
Durham Region offers a lively multicultural community, beautiful scenery and green spaces, great shopping, entertainment and many attractions. We are on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario and part of a wonderful waterfront trail.
