School Introduction

ESL Wilderness Ranch is an ESL school attached to a horse ranch in the mountains of BC. It is a much more relaxed environment to learn English than the big city centres. Students study in the classroom in the mornings then spend the afternoons on the ranch with the staff and horses learning how to ride "western style". Being on a ranch, there is less stress than being in a strange city and also the opportunity to enjoy the Canadian wilderness firsthand.

ESL Program Introduction

Our ESL program is based on participation. We consider that learning a language while actively joining in with English speaking people is a far more effective way to improve your vocabulary and the grammar will follow naturally. Our small classes of no more than 10 mixed nationality students and highly qualified staff ensure a fun and exciting experience. Instructors are qualified not only in ESL but also in wilderness and horse skills.

Schedule & Fees

Courses start on the first Monday of each month. We run 1, 2 or 4 week courses. 5 days a week with classroom study in the mornings and active participation in the afternoons and weekends.
Costs; 1 week - $975 2 week - $1800 4 week - $3450,
All costs in CAD and are inclusive of food and accommodation at the ranch.
