School Introduction SEA ESL is an ESL schhol that specializes in English learing through professionally run adventures, strong English structure with real world practice and community involvement.
Class sizes are limited to 8 students in order to ensure the student's full involvement in class.
Students are the reason why we opened and accordingly they are our highest priority.
SEA ESL is located in beautiful Powell River, on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
95% of Powell River residents speak English as a first language. We enjoy warm weather all year and rarely have snow in town. We are located close to shopping and restaurants and public transportation.
ESL Program Introduction
English and Activities program:
Full time English studies with a 30 minute tutorial. Study grammar in the morning as a base for the afternoon English cummunicative classes. Students will have the chance to meet nad interact with local people.
All fees for activies are already included so there is no need to pay more.
English and Adventure:
This is for the student who wishes to explore nature and themselves. Students study English fundamentals and real-world coversational English at school and go on exciting adventures with Terracentric, a leader in outdoor recreation and education, in the afternoons. Adventures include among others: three day kayaking trip to desolation sound, whale watching, scuba diving excursions and wilderness sightseeing. This is an all inclusive program. All costs are included in the price, there is nothing more to pay.
Vacation and English:
This is for the student who wants to have a vacation while still studying English. Students study part-time and go on sightseeing, camping, caoneing, whalewatching, and other vaction excursions.
Family ESL:
We offer the opportunity for families to study together. Parents will study in class with other students while their choldren under 6 will be at an English pre-school. Children will have the chance to meet other children their own age while learning English. everything, including pre-school is included in the price.
The family is able to participate in activities together.
Summer/Winter Camp:
We offer students between the ages of 12 and 18 the chance to experience a true summer or winter camp. Children will learn English and life skills in a lodge on beautiful Powell Lake.

Schedule & Fees
Starting Dates:
Students may start on any Monday. A new term starts on the first Monday of every Month.
Tuition:
2 weeks: 50 hours $450, $550( all included) and up
4 weeks: 100 hours $950, $1150 (all included) and up
8 weeks: 200 hours $1900, $2300 (all included) and up
